Lava Stone

The mastery of this new material has called upon the manufacturer’s unlimited passion.
It has required increasingly high-performance kilns and machines and increasingly specialised workers in order to obtain results that exceed the expectations of even the most optimistic clients.
Lavastone is the only rock that can be glazed and fired several times at 1,000 ºC, thanks to its high heat resistance.

This frost-proof material with its large formats, its limitless range of colours and its capacity to be cut to the size and shape you require, offers an infinite number of possible uses. It is a great substitute for marble and granite for all kinds of decorative uses: floor and wall cladding - wash basin vanity units – bath surrounds – shower trays – kitchen worktops - counters - tables - fire surrounds - façades – swimming pools – advertising signs - etc...

This material’s strong points (in addition to its pure lines) include the fact that it is easy to maintain, offers shock-resistance, and matches all our tiles and wall decorations perfectly.
The intrinsic quality of glazed lavastone is the reason Louis Sette believes that it will continue to be “the ceramic product par excellence” for the next few decades.
